What makes a person become civic-minded? Students will focus and research various artists, periods, methods, and styles of art. They will create artwork made in the same vein as their chosen style/artist. After they have created their work, they will mount and matte their artwork (increasing the size of their original work using scale). The final outcome of the project would be an art show held at the Masonic Home, where students will show their work and make presentation and documentations about their process and what they learned. Students will have the option to donate their work to the home or a patient in particular. Refreshments will be served.
